We've been fighting since 2010 to save WRVU. We are a 501 C 3 tax-exempt organization dedicated to putting Nashville's best student-run radio station back on the air.
We need the help and support of 91 Rock alumni, dedicated fans and audience members to help us put the station back on the air.
Please join us today in our efforts to restore WRVU to the FM Dial.
We need help! Please take action by contributing financially or filling out the Volunteer form. We are working to build our organization and we need financial resources as well as individuals dedicated to getting WRVU back on the FM dial.
Please act today and use the ¡TAKE ACTION! page. Once you have completed the process, please reach out to your friends and urge them to join us. We can be successful with your help and committment!
Over the past few months, WRVU Friends and Family representatives have been travelling to the nation's hottest radio conferences (CMJ, CBI, GRC). With our brethren from KTRU and KUSF, we are soundng the alarm that the College Radio Crisis is in full swing. We have learned from industry experts at CMJ and CBI that these sales of public radio stations have piqued the interest of the FCC and they are paying close attention to the details of these sales.
Our fight continues on many fronts. We need volunteers and resources to help us with marketing, public relations, fundraising, and legal research. Take action or volunteer! Ask your friends to get involved as well. If we work together, we can make the difference that will get WRVU back on the FM dial.
